Hello!

I recently bought a new Harddisk (IDE, UATA100) and want to copy w2k pro
to this new HD - just like a cd-image - so i dont have to install/set up
everything again.
I read that Norton Ghost/Drive Image could do that, but is there another
way too?

TIA&regards,
orlando

As far as I know, only 3rd party utilities can do that. The main reason
seems to be the need to move the boot sector to the new drive. No
filecopy mechanism I've heard of can do that, only track-for-track (or
the equivalent) mechanisms.
