Copy visible cells on Filtered data

Myself and a person I work with just installed Excel 2007. If I
filter a sheet and copy the filtered data, Excel will only copy what
is visible. If I try it on my friends computer (using the same
methods and data), his Excel copies all the data, not just the
filtered rows. Any ideas?

There are a few people that report this in the newsgroups
I have no solution for you

Workaround:

You can select your filtered data like this

Select a cell in the table and use Ctrl *
If there are no empty rows/columns in your data table all cells are selected

Then use Ctrl ; to select the visible data

Then Ctrl c to copy and paste it where you want with Ctrl v

Hi,

Select the filtered data, Press Ctrl and drag to a new location, to check
whether the visible data is copied to a new location.

Select your filtered data. Press F5 key. click on "Visible Cells Only". Copy
that data and paste anywhere.

Tell us if it works.....
