Is there a copy utility which doesn't stop if it finds some error while
copying (for ex., if it' s unable to copy a system file) and it goes on
copying skipping the error?
Thanks.

Here is a program to help copy files - and continues copying even if the
file
cannot be copied:

Ycopy is a data migration utility. In short it is a utility that helps you
copy data from one disk to another.

What Ycopy is not.
Ycopy is a useful utility for the intended purpose.
It is not a data recovery tool.
It was originally written for and is used at our local computer store.
It is not a cure all.
If the original drive is physically broken in any way
then use of Ycopy will most likely not help.
It makes no attempt to restore corrupt files.
It is however very good at making the job of copying existing data
to a new drive a much more predictable and less time consuming operation
than it can otherwise turn out to be.

And another one:

Unstoppable Copier

You can use Total Commander instead of Windows Explorer.
It is shareware actually but you can use it without limitations.
There is only one annoying window that pops up when you start it.

Try Copy It Anyway:

http://www.digitalsystem.co.yu/download.html

It's down at the bottom of the page.

It moves (and deletes I think too) again even if the file is in use.

Not sure of the details but I have used it successfully before under
some circumstance (that is trying to copy, move or delete a file that
explorer won't let you delete.)

Karen's Replicator works that way. When it is finished it lists what
the errors were. I've tried a bunch of copy programs and Replicator is
the fastest and best, IMO. Totally free, of course.

You can set it to not copy certain types of files such as .sys and
avoid the error in the first place.

One tiny gripe with Replicator: It wants to run your backup every day
by default and nags you about it if you don't. Just go into the
scheduling mode and change the year from this year to 2050 or some
year way in the future. You'll get your next reminder in 2050. Problem
solved.

Or learn VB, download the source (Karen provides source code for all
her programs) and change it to do it your way.

You can't be serious. My way takes five seconds. Your way would
take... who knows?
