" copy to cd " DOES NOT come up

I have always put my pictures on cd-r & cd-rw. But now
when I go into my pictures, and highlite pictures that I
want to put on cd, The " copy to cd " DOES NOT come up on
the left colum. And even if I go in my computer and right
click, it will read the pictures but it stops there and
does not put them on to cd .
I can put in a cd that i did awhile back and it shows the
pictures, But somehow , now it is not recognizing when I
try to burn to cd.??
I have a compaq pc and windows XP
Can someone please help me with this .
Any help will be so appreciated .

Have you tried "Drag & Drop". Once highlighting the pictures, left click and
drag over to your CD drive.
If your CD Drives are not listed on the left column then turn the "Folders
Button" on by clicking it at the top in your Tool Bar.
Your pictures will then copy to CD.
