COPY protection

I am interested in distributing/selling a series of about 20 large pps
files via CD with many linked MP3 files, excel files, web links, etc totalling
about 280 MB. I might sell the individual files (1/20th of above) via web
download
if possible.
The remainding hangup is COPY protection (NOT editing protection via
password).
I'd like to distribute a CD with some sort of individualized registration
key/password.
I understand that there is no foolproof copy protection, but I'd like to
make it strong
enough so that it's not like having a sign on it "Please copy me and give it
to your friends!" (PCMAGITYF!)
The registration key schemes seem to be based on extracting an .exe file
and then
leaving the extracted files on the hard disk. (PCMAGITYF!). Has anybody
worked with companies like Softwrap, Regnow, Digital River, etc. and have a
feel for how
good their key schemes are? They don't seem to explain it very well, either
on the sites or by e-mail questions, how they would work with my requirments.
In particular I'd like to have the program run right off the CD and not
extract to
the hard disk.
Thanks to Echo and others, I've learned how to do an autorun file and now
how to use iexpress to make the whole thing into a self-extracting .exe file,
but in terms
of the big picture I still don't know how to get from what I know to what I
want.
Any feedback, experiences, etc. appreciated.
Thanks in advance
