Copy & paste

B

Bobby

I got 2 answers on this but still can't get it to work, one answer was
Transpose and the other was autofill, both don't work the way I want.
I want to copy columns of numbers down ward and paste the upwards.
copy down
Cell 1 = 1
cell 2 = 2
cell 3 = 3

paste so
cell 1 = 3
cell 2 = 2
cell 3 = 3

2nd question, Transpose is to turn around up and down to left to right?

Thanks Bob

Dave Peterson gave a method of filling from bottom to top but was not copy
and paste as you wish.

You cannot copy and paste a vertical range of numbers from down to up.

You can sort them or re-enter them per Dave's autofill method or use a
helper column with a formula of

=INDEX($A$1:$A$10,10-(ROW(A1)-1)) copied down will reverse the 10 items in
A1:A10

Yes........Transpose turns a column into a row or vice versa and is not
applicable in your case.
