Copy/Paste Settings

Hi, here is the problem I am having. I want to copy a screenshot from a
program into Microsoft Word. When it gets pasted into a document, Word
automatically shrinks it down to size. I then take this pasted picture, and
then i paste it into a final destination. The problem is that I used to be
able to do this in Word XP and it kept the picture in its shrunk down stage,
which is what I need. With Word 2003, when i paste it into the final
destination, it blows it back up to original size (as if i just did a
screenshot directly into the final destination). Word XP just did the job of
cutting down the size of the picture which is what i need. Any suggestions
would be helpful. THanks in advance.

Word is not an image editing program. Do all of your image
editing, including resizing, in an image editing program.
There are a lot of them out there, high end to near free.
