Copy/Paste function windows 2K

This is a crazy question but how does the copy/paste function work in windows
2k? Is their a clipboard somewhere? Is their a way to clear it? what is the
max copy/paste job you can do?

Yes, there is a clipboard. You can access it via the command
clipbrd.exe. You can use it to save or delete the current contents
of the clipboard.
 
"What is the max copy/paste job you can do?" This is probably limited only
by the file system in use. I've successfully copied/pasted 160 gigabytes in
one single operation.
