Is it possible to select and print a single image from a .pps slide show
using Power Point Viewer? There doesn't seem to be such a menu choice.
Perhaps it's only from the full Power Point program that such is possible.

You are correct. The viewer allows for limited viewing options, limited
print options and no editing options. The function you want is an edit
function in the full version of PowerPoint.

I would guess you would still be able to use ALT+PRINTSCREEN to do a screen
capture of the desired slide then paste it into a graphics program of your
choice (assuming you have one of those). You could then save it as a JPG or
PNG and print it, etc.

you can always download a free screen capture utility and then capture just
the portion of the screen that contains your picture and save it as a jpeg or
tiff or giff file.
