copy just the table format

i read one of the contributors to 'general questions' expound that one can
"copy the table format (only) to a new (empty) table". what am i not
seeing....i don't see how (in a2k) that's possible.

any help'd be really neat.

Select and Copy a table. Then right-click in the database window and select
"paste". You will then be given three options. One of them is to copy the
structure only.

Did you try to copy a table before posting a thread here?

i'm not sure if i took your approach or not (although, granted you're correct
that would've been the end of this). i did try exporting and saving as i
remember. tomorrow, we'll try yours rick b.
