copy formula

I am trying to copy a formula from one sell to several other cells.
I want to add up all the cells in a column with the total at the botto
in d51, I have pressed auto sum for this single cell and included al
the cells that I want d2:d49 but when I try to copy the formula t
other cells in row d51 its also copying the figure from that cell.

Any help would be grate Thnaks

Hi

It sounds to me like you have got manual calculation on. You will probably
see the word 'calculate' in your status bar. To switch it back to automatic,
go to Tools / Options / Calculation and select Automatic.

I think you might be using the wrong "Paste" icon - there is one tha
pastes formulas as values. It looks like a little clipboard with th
number 12 on it. Try using the "Edit" menu and selecting "Paste". I
that works correctly we are on the right track
