copy formula from worksheet to worksheet

When I copy formulas from one worksheet to another the
pasted formula includes the path and file name of the
worksheet it was copied from.

At times I can edit it out, but sometimes the formulas
get to long and are cut.

How can I copy and paste without the path and file name
in the formula.

Thanks for any help

One way

Use Edit>Replace

Replace "=" with " =", which converts formulas to text.

copy and paste the cells

Use Edit/Replace then to replace " =" with "=" To make them formulas again
