Copy DUPLICATES - not overwiting

Is there any utility allowing to copy extracted files and their duplicates
(same names) without asking for overwriting previous just (maybe) adding
number?
I have a lot of recovered from drives (after reformatting) files in a bunch
of directories. They have often same names but are, of course, in different
conditions. Going through 3000 subdirectories and checking each file
individually is a Titanic task. I would like to be able to extract files of
one type (doc, wpd, pdf, jpg, etc.) to separate directories then use
specific repair utilities on them. So, I need to extract ALL of 6,000
*.doc - not only first 2,000 from first subdirectories.

Linux - I heard this word somewhere, long ago... Seriously: there is
nothing for Windows?

The first dialogue box that appears about duplicate files (yes or no) also
offers the option of "Yes to all".

"Yes to All" means, as I understand, to overwrite all files that are already
in this directory. I needed something opposite. Anyway, I founded, finaly,
this ability in Space Hunt 4:
http://fineware.com/
One of functions it offers is to save duplicates in same directory. Program
adds then additional extension to the file name. This company offers also a
few other useful gadgets (I'm not working for them!!!).
Anyway, thanks for tips.
