copy data

Tried copy/paste, but, get error massage saying "drive not
ready. Drive is possebly busy or it is empty." I know it
is there and full of data. Can pull it up to view but not
move to harddrive. THANKS

It is impossible to tell from this post what exactly you are doing. Are
you trying to transfer data from a cd-r to the hard drive, from a
floppy, or what? Repost and state clearly and precisely what you are
doing, what error messages you get if any, and any pertinent details
about your system so people who can't see your computer can help you.
