I have Norton Ghost Vsn 10. Windows XP Pro Edition, computer with two
IDE drives. The primary drive became damaged & will not boot up.
Is it possible, using Norton Ghost vsn 10 to transfer files, data,
applications from drive that will not boot up to a Primary drive in
another computer?

Depends. If the drive is inacessible, then no software will
help. If the drive is fine and only the data is damaged,
then it depends on whether the disk structure itself is still
fine.

You should do a bit more diagnostics. One thing you can do is connect
the drive to the other computer a secondary and see whether it shows up
and what its SMART status is.

Thalnk's for quick informative reply! One other question, what is
SMART status?

Thalnk's for quick informative reply!

What informative reply if you have to ask what the information is.
One other question, what is SMART status?

Nothing to do with your initial question.
It's a stopword that the babblebot uses in every other sentence.
