Copy Colour and Data within cells not borders

Hi,

We would like to be able to move the data and colour of
the cells in excel 2000 and not the borders for each
cell. The cells currently have a colour, data and
borders. I am not sure if this is possible, when i
hightlight and copy the cells, the data, colour and
borders are then pasted over, as i said before i would
only like the colour and data to be moved within the same
sheet.

Hi

When you paste, select Paste Special and you can then select 'All except
borders'.

right click on the data
copy
right click the cell you want to paste
paste special
check the box that says "All Except Boarders'


And there it is.
