Copy cell and the font color

Is there a way to use a formula to copy a cell (text) and it's font color? I
tried the = cell # and it does not bring the font color along.

A formula can only return a value to a cell, no formats and such.

When copying keep the destination Workbook open at the same time as the
source Workbook and you should find that the font colour will copy across as
well.
