copies

I have copies of photo's in my Documents folder and was
copying some of them to a CD. When finished I tried to
delete these pictures and they just doubled themselves
The more I try to delete them the more copies it makes.

How can I get these pictures deleted out of my Documents
folder? Help Please?

I have Windows XP home edition.

Probably due to the fact that after you click on a file with your mouse you
are dragging this file down.
Click the first file you want to delete, remove your finger from your mouse.
Hold the Ctrl or Shift key down and now click on the next file and remove
your finger from your mouse before clicking on the next one, etc.
