coolweb and shell.dll error

Hi. I am running Windows XP Home Edition. I posted
earlier because whenever I tried to open my FTP Program, I
got an error message: Shell.dll not found. You directed me
to a web site where I got info about parasites - then I
followed the directions and removed a ton of coolweb stuff
from my computer. According to CWShredder, there is no
longer any coolweb on my computer. I have run that and
Ad-Aware a couple times. However, I still get the
shell.dll not found message when I try to open my FTP
program. Is there a patch or repair that I can make to get
this program running again? Thanks for your help.

Shell.dll is a windows file. I have one located in windows\system and
windows\system32.
Try this:
Start, run, type in: sfc /scannow
Hit enter. Have xp cd handy. (note the space between c and /)
