convex screen

My screen is looking like a 50s TV screen, wide on the sides and not filling
it. I know there are buttons on the bottom of the monitor, but I cannot
figure how to get them to do what I want. I saved everything from the
installation when I bought it, but I cannot find a monitor manual. Is there
somewhere online I can find an explanation?? I have a Dell computer and
monitor about 2 years old. I recently had the hard drive 'cleaned' of virus,
etc and the screen came back like this. HELP

Hi,
You might try: Start - Control Panel - Display - Settings. Check your
screen Resolution and change it to the Dell recommended setting for your
monitor. (In my case that is 1024X768.) Also, check the manufacturers' site
for updated video drivers for your unit. If that does not work, go to the
Dell Community Forums and ask for help. Dell Support and Downloads for your
Dell might give you updated drivers and Monitor info also.
