converting

Hi Everyone, I have a problem. I have some docuements that are in
wordpad and when I open them they are all coded. How do I change it to
regular text so I can read it. Thanks hope someone can help.

Don't know Wordpad too well. You should be able to 'Save as text' and then
open the text file. You'll probably loose any formatting but it will save
having to re-type the document.

Wordpad by default saves as a *.rtf file which is compatible with MS Word.

Open the files with Wordpad then re-save.

When re-saving the file in Wordpad, save as >file type>*.txt

Excrl will open *.txt files nicely.
