Which software do I need to convert a word file to a PDF file?

If you have Word 2007, you can download the free Save As PDF add-in from
Microsoft (see
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...3C-6D89-4F15-991B-63B07BA5F2E5&displaylang=en)

If you have an earlier version, you will need Adobe Acrobat or one of its
clones. Some free ones that are frequently recommended are PrimoPDF, CutePDF
and PDF995.
