converting text files to excel - there must be a better way

I receive multiple text files from an outside source which
I need to convert to excel, then copy & paste data to a
excel report. Is there a way to automate the conversion
process to excel? I currently use the wizard but it is a
painful process individually.


Is there a macro? or another method that can automate
process?

Why not run the macro recorder whilst you are doing your text import etc?
You can then repeat the same operation just by running the macro.
