converting snp files

Hi Guys,
Simple goal, big problem.

I want to get a nice clean copy of an access report into
MS word. The only form I could save the report as that
would be identical was as a snp. I was not able to bring
this into Word. An rtf file would not display the check
boxes on my report. Why has MS not dealt with making
these compatible?

Any help is appreciated,

I believe that there are different "levels" of rtf, and some of them don't
allow graphics, so Microsoft went with the lowest common denominator.
