Converting forms to php

Guest

I have just created a range of forms in FrontPage 2003, and now I realise
that my host does not support asp, only php.
Can anyone advise if there is an easy way to convert my forms to php ??
(I am relatively new to web-building and FrontPage, so could you explain it
simply if possible...? Thanks!)

Basic forms are implemented in HTML, and don't require a scripting
language. I assume that you are using ASP under FrontPage to interface
a database of some sort (whether or not you are calling it that) to
your Web pages. I know of no "automatic" way of converting the code
behind forms from one of the ASP languages (presumably Visual Basic)
to php. However, you may be able to find a php "package" which does
what you want with only limited customisation.

Please respond to the Newsgroup, so that others may benefit from the exchange.
