Dear J I,
I have tired all the TECH and Community info for converting my WMM files to
WMV's with no luck at all what so ever! Who out there knows the answer? THE
MSWMM is not allowing any "project" to be renamed or saved in any format
except the long file mswmm, Media Player refuses to play it even Real Player
isn't allowing it, I need a link to a free download to convert it to a wmv,
please reply. with link incld. Respectfully, a lil ol galwho's only got a net
to keep her busy with all kids far away, gradkids far far too. Thanks for the
time and consideration RSVP when possible? Ms.L C

================================================
..mswmm files are Movie Maker "Project" files that are
only useful for re-editing projects within Movie Maker.
They are not compatible with any other program,

If you open one of your .mswmm files in Movie Maker...
you can save it in a movie format (.wmv or .avi) as follows:

To save as a .wmv movie file...
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Tick...'Best Quality For My Computer'
Next/
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

To save as an .avi movie file...
(and several other options)
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Show More Choices /
Other Settings /
Open the drop window and choose...DV-AVI /
Next /
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...
