converting files

hi
when ever i download music from myspace etc they are saved on my computer as
non-assigned files (i.e in properties just says type:file) when ever i go 2
open them i have to choose media player from the list to open them with. it
plays them fine but i would like to just have them as media player files how
do i convert them?

the option to 'always use this program to open this type of file' is not
clickable.


please help! (",)

Download WM encoder 9 series,open the encoder,select convert.
