converting excel

can I convert excel worksheets or workbooks into a executable file format.
I'm having lots of problems finding information on this.
Would be very grateful for any help!!

No, you cannot. Each workbbok is a document that can be opened in a host
application, specifically Excel, but it needs that host to have any
effective use.

You can build VB, C++, etc. executables that access Excel and Excel files.
