Converting Dollars to Text

M

Mike

Does anyone know if there is a function available in Excel or in Access that
will spell out a dollar amount in text - like writing a check? For instance,
I want it to take a dollar amount like $459.00 and convert it to "Four
hundred fifty-nine dollars". Excel has a BahtText function, which I guess
does this, but reports the result in the Thai language...not much help to
me. The HELP says I can change it to display another language (like US
English, maybe?) by changing my Regional Settings. But mt Regional Settings
are all set to US, United States, etc. If you have an idea, I'd appreciate
your help.

Thanks!
