I am creating a work order page for the company i work for. i want the dollar
sum of a column ($525.62) to be converted into words (Five Hundred twenty
five dollars and sixty two cents) in a seperate cell. im dooing this for
security so the numbers cant be fudged. Is this posable with a formula? The
output dosent have to be that exact format but something close.

Have a Look on this link:

To put in this function, from your workbook right-click the workbook's icon
and pick View Code. This icon is to the left of the "File" menu this will
open the VBA editor, in the left hand window click on your workbook name, go
to insert, module, and paste the code in the window that opens on the right
hand side, press Alt and Q to close this window and go back to your
workbook. If you are using excel 2000 or newer you may have to change the
macro security settings to get the macro to run.

then use something like this in a cell

=ConvertCurrencyToEnglish(5.25)

or

=ConvertCurrencyToEnglish(A4)
