Converting arabic (US) numbers to text

G

Greg

I have seen a couple of previous posts on this topic but
they have either a) not worked, or b) not made any
sense. I want to be able to type a number, for example
25, in one column; in an adjacent column, I want it to
convert that to the text version of that number,
i.e., "twenty five". Another example: I enter "310" in
cell C10; in E10 I want it to display "three hundred
ten". Hope that gives you a good idea of what I am
trying to do. FYI, I am pretty computer literate, but I
am no Excel expert (obviously), so if I need to build/run
a macro to accomplish this, please include instructions
on how to do this. Thanks!

It might help to identify your problems if you
a) explain what you tried and what happended
b) explain why you don't think the provided advice made sense.
