Hello;

When I convert a Word doc to PDF, the image resolution is down sampled from
300 ppi to 150 ppi. How do I maintain or change the ppi?

Your help is much appreciated.

Chris

That's controlled from the Acrobat end -- check the conversion settings.

I've changed the settings in Adobe Acrobat Distiller, saved, restarted and
coverted to pdf again to no avail.

Did I miss a step?

Are you actually using Distiller? (ordinary conversions direct from Word
don't normally)

I have the same problem:
If Distiller is not being used to create the pdf, what is?

So how do you change the pdfmaker image resolution resampling settings?

This is an Adobe issue - nothing to do with Word. You should be asking about
Adobe in an Adobe forum, however, you can change the settings from the Adobe
PDF menu in Word (provided by the Acrobat add-in - Change Conversion
settings > Advanced Settings) or from the same tools in the Adobe PDF
'printer' driver properties.
