Convert to Dynamic disk

What are the steps to convert a disk to a Dynamic disk?

The server is a an IIS server with about 400 sites on the
drive to be converted. I assume I will need to stop IIS
to start this process. Is that correct?

Also, on a 90% full 15GB drive, how long should this take
to convert?

Thanks in advance

It is almost instantaneous. It isn't the file system that is being
converted, just a little change in the MBR, and a small database (less than
a MB) is created in the end of the disk.

Yes, I would recommend you not to run any programs on the disk being
converted.

I suppose that you are aware that partitions that existed before the disk
was upgraded to dynamic cannot be resized:
