Convert Text to Number

Hi All,

I'm using =Spellnumber() function to convert numbers into words, one of
sheet has a number like 47,500/- when I apply =Spellnumber() function to this
value it gives #Value error, is there any way to convert text like 47,500/-
in to numbers.
