Convert PPT tables to text

Mac PPT X. OS X.

I need to convert a bunch of tables in PPT slides to text. Is there a
way to do this like the convert to text command in Word? Is there
another way to do this?

I have many PPT files that contain a lot of tables I need to convert to
text and finding a simple way to make it happen would be extremely
helpful.

Depending on what you're trying to do, it might be enough just to ungroup the
tables.
