convert pdf images to jpeg

hi.
I am running xp pro,fully updated. my printers are a epson stylus 880 and a
lexmark x83 all-in-one.here is my question.i have some pdf files which open
with Adobe Reader.they are photo,s that i have recieved off friends.can i
convert the images to jpeg so they can be edited .i read in a magazine once
that this can be done using the printer driver.could someone tell me how
this is done,or do i have to use third -party software

If you look on your toolbar of Adobe Reader 7 you'll see the snapshot tool.
This will let you copy the picture to the clipboard. Paste it from there to
your paint program where you can save it as a jpeg.
