There are no instructions. A PDF cannot be converted to Word or, TTBOMK, any
other format. Now, I don't know about the Reader as I don't have it
installed (I use the full product) but it may be possible to copy the text,
but that's it. The whole point of a PDF is that it's a universal format, why
do you have a need to 'convert' it to Word?

Use your copy of Adobe Reader, or get a copy from www.adobe.com, and use
the File/Save as Text command. Then insert the text into Word.

Rose:

If the file is not locked (most PDFs are) you can copy it to a text
file by opening it in the Adobe Reader and click on Edit. Then click
Copy. Open Word and click Paste from the clipboard.

If the file is locked, you will be unable to use Copy\Paste.

Acrobat full version can convert a pdf to rtf which is a file format
compatible with Word.

If you have the full version of Acrobat, simply open the pdf file in it,
select file, save as from the menu, and select rtf (rich text format), then
you can open the document in Word.

So that explains why sometimes it works & some not.

If u really need a page in text, I image u could:
1-ALT+PrintScreen
2-Paste BMP/TIF file
3- run 2) thru OCR

A lenghtly process indeed but less ghastly 4 me than
typing. I've done this with error msgs to send to TS.

Any advice given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS. Personal attacks, nitpicking & criticism
of anything but content will NOT be responded to. Those
posters should spend their time taking the test @
