Convert old Word docs (version 5.0 & 2.0)

Is there a way to convert old word docs.

Can open files and get plain text put would like to retain formatting. I
have the styple sheets that go along with the docs.

questions are: 1) From what? (which you have answered), and 2) To what?

Convert from MS-Word version 5.0 & 2.0 to MS-Word 2003.

The old DOS filters are no longer included. If you have access to an older
Word version (2000/97) you could extract the file DOSWRD32.CNV from the
install disc, or you can access it via the link on the downloads page of my
web site.
