Convert html to doc while capturing its graphics

Word 97
I can open an .html file via Word and then save that file as .doc. However
that file's graphic images are not embedded into the doc. file like they
would be if the .doc were created from scratch and the images were inserted
into it.

Is there a way to save the .html file as a doc. file in such a way that the
images associated with the .html file become embedded into the .doc file?

Hi Knack,

In Word 97, with the file open use Edit=>Links and use both the 'embed' graphics choice and the 'break links' choice then use
File=>Save As to a new file name for your .doc file.
