convert file 'tif' into a world document

How can i convert a ''tif' format file into a world document?how can i read
and print them?
 
The TIF file is an Image file only and does not contain the orignal
text(if any) in any form that could be recovered. THe only method to
possibly convert a TIF file to a Word Document woudl involve the use of
OCR software.

If you are using Office 2003 then you are in luck because the included
MODI App has built in OCR and can load Tif files. Alternatively, you
would have to purchase a third party OCR application.
