generally when you open a csv file (using file / open) excel sorts it out
and then all you have to do is save it as an excel file (file / save as -
change save as type) ... have you tried this. If it doesn't work, it could
mean that the converters have not been installed ... if this is the case
check out csv in help (in 2003 there's a topic called File format converts
supplied with excel) which will give the procedure for getting them
installed and working.
