Convert an Excel workbook to an .exe file

I am curious if it is possible to convert an Excel workbook to an .exe file?
 
Nope. It would kind of make it difficult for Microsoft to make mone
selling Excel to everyone...
 
You may want to investigate the possibilities presented by Visual Baler.

I have never used it nor know anyone who has so cannot vouch for its
functionality.

You could also investigate the use of Visual Basic(not VBA) to create
stand-alones.
