How can I convert my Access 2000 database to Access 2003? The title to
my dialog box currently says:

mydatabase: Database (Access 2000 file format)

Thanks much.

Access 2003 uses the 2000 file format by default.

You do not need to convert it unless you have a specific need, such as to
create an MDE file.

If you want to do it:
Tools | Database Utilities | Convert Database

Access 2003 (like Access 2002 before it) uses Access 2000 format by default,
so that your databases can be shared with other users who might still be
using the older version. If that is not a concern for you, from the Tools
menu choose Database Utilities, then Convert Database, then To Access 2002 -
2003 File Format.

If you want new database to be created using the new format, from the Tools
menu choose Options, in the Options dialog choose the Advanced tab, and from
the Default File Format drop-down list choose Access 2002-2003.

So you're saying that even if I convert my db to Access 2003 format, the
title bar will still say "Access 2000 file format"?
