Convert 24.1 to days, minutes, hours???

W

Wm Rich

Example: If I calculate that it takes 24.1 days to do a job, how do I
best convert that to 1 day, 2 hours, 24 minutes?

I can do it with a multi-step mathmatical calculation by stripping off
the interger, but there is probably a much easier way in Excel.

Would appreciate help.

Instead of "converting" it, if you want to "display" it in that fashion, you
can do so with a custom format:

d" days" h" hours" m" minutes"
