conversions

Why doesn't Microsoft offer a clean conversion software product that will
convert PPT animated presentations to DVD? Producer can't even convert my PPT
presentations without distorting my effects, timed settings and sound track.
The non Microsoft products are even worse. It's frustrating to have a super
PPT show and have to cue music seperate just to be able to present it on a
P.C. There is a large market for us PPT users who would like to give our
shows to others to play in DVD's.

Please advise if you have any intention of adding such a needed product.
Producer just does not cut it. I have PPT XP 2003.

Many have tried without, IMHO, a great deal of success.

Some suggestions:
Convert presentations to VHS or DVD video
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00156.htm

While you and I agree that PowerPoint should, it does not do any real good
until the programmers write this into the code. The programmers can not
build this into the code until they are directed to by the program manager.
The program manager can not direct funds to this development until it
becomes a cost worthy customer satisfaction issue. Cost worthy customer
satisfaction issues are decided based on feedback. And that is where it all
comes back to you. Tell them you want it.

Hi Bill
I have taken your advice & have started to send to the link you gave.
We ought to have a macro that sends a set of ideas every time we go online
:) for all its shortcomings I have been using office & word since I left
wordstar in the early 80's - I for one would be lost without it Dan

Jay,

Look for one of any conversion products that will take all of
PowerPoint's slides and convert them to Flash. That is the best remedy
that I have found.

Try Macromedia's Breeze, Articulate, PresentationPro, and PPT2Flash.
Some are cheap, some are not.

Then just burn them to a DVD and run them as executables.
