Conversion of .tiff files to MS Word.

I have .tiff files which contains equations. So I retyped the .tiff files in
Equation editor.
However is there an easier way out?
Can I convert .tiff files to word directly?
If so, Please tell me how to do it?

You could try using OCR software, but for equations retyping will likely be
less effort in the long run.

you could simply insert the TIFF files as a picture (Insert | Picture |
From File).

You don't get vector graphics nor can you adjust anything in these
picture through Word, but it's an alternative ...
