Controls within control library doesn't appear in ToolBox

Hi,

I have a VS2005 solution that includes a control library project. The
problem is that the controls that I've created in the control library
project do not appear in toolbar when I am creating forms in other projects
within the same solution.

I know that I can right click on the toolbar and add controls manually, but
is there any way that the controls in my solution appear in the toolbox
automatically?

Thank you,

Max

Hello Max,

Has the Windows Control Library been built? In normal situation, the User
Control will be appear on the tool box with following conditions:

1. The two project is in same solution. (for example, a Windows Control
Library project and a Windows Form project
2. the Windows Control Library has been built (A DLL file has been created)
3.A form is currently opened in form designer.

You may check above factors to see if there is anything missed.

Addtionally, it is also worth of a try to create a new solution and add all
your projects to the new solution to see if it can make it work.

Sincerely,

Luke Zhang
