Control size

Why does the size of controls change to a different value than the value I
assigned to it?

For example. If I assign the value 400 to the width of a control, it
actually becomes something like 395, or a value of 0,5 becomes something like
0,497.

Can someone explain why? Can I do anything about it?

If you're using the metric measurement system, this happens because
internally Access uses twips, which are based on inches, so your metric
measurements get rounded to the nearest twip.
