Control Center does not start

I just installed the 4.8 drivers with the new Control Center, and as the
subject says, the CC does not start.

The cursor gets a half hourglass for a few seconds, and then nothing.

There were no indications of any errors during installation.

Using Win2K, and the .NET stuff was installed.

Any clues?

See my post further down. you need to run it in the C:\ATI\SUPPORT folder
(just cut and paste from where you downloaded it to.
