control button trouble

I have an access 2000 database containing only tables and
queries. I secured the database. I then added a few
macros and forms. On the forms I have control buttons
that are set to run the various macros I created.
Problem: I get an error when I attempt to run the macros
from the form using the ctrl buttons. The error reads,
Network connection error. When I run the macros manually
it runs with no problem. any suggestions? thx,

Hi, Matthew.

Does the error message say, "Error accessing file. Network connection may
have been
lost"? Does your computer have a component of Office XP or Office 2003
installed, but Office 2K SP-3 is not installed? Did you import or
copy/paste a form, report or module into the current database without
compiling the code before closing the database? If so, please see this

That is the exact error I was getting. I don't even have
Office SR1. I will update and try again. thanks for the
help.
